Recipes I’d like to try in 2012…still evolving

Still need to look through my Mom’s cookbook, my Sitti’s (Grandma) recipe box, and my cookbook made for me by my MIL, and probably my starred archives to add some more! ;)

Breads/Yeast-Based

  1. Pita Bread
  2. Focaccia Bread

  4. Soft Pretzels
  5. Cinnamon Rolls (Made but want to try again)

Desserts

  1. Ice cream (I’ve only made one so far…)
  2. Truffles (I’ve only made Oreo truffles so far…)
  3. Fudge
  4. Oreo Madness (I want to recreate the Friday’s dessert I used to love…)
  5. Pie In The Sky (Recreate Corrie’s favorite Friday’s dessert…white choc. chunk macadamia nut, double choco-choc. chip, and old-fashioned choc. chip with nuts cookies with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, hot caramel, and whipped cream)
  6. Biscotti
  7. Graham Cracker Cupcakes with Marshmallow Frosting
  8. Oreo Cupcakes or Cake with Cookies & Creme Frosting
  9. German Chocolate Cupcakes (Coconut and Pecan filling with a Brown Sugar Buttercream)
  10. Mammoul (Made but never blogged)
  11. Caramel Corn
  12. Lemoncello Cupcakes
  13. Earl Grey Cupcakes (Corrie LOVES Earl Grey tea…)
  14. Fruit Tart
  15. Banana Cake with Peanut Butter Buttercream
  16. Cake Pops
  17. Caramel Cupcakes with Salted Caramel Buttercream
  18. Pink Champagne Cake or Cupcakes with Vanilla Buttercream or Raspberry Cake with Champagne Buttercream
  19. Grasshopper Pie
  20. Mojito Cupcakes (rum cake with a mint/lime/vanilla frosting)
  21. “Favor” Apples (caramel/chocolate/toffee/pretzel apples made my MIL makes – also were our wedding favors); also want to try some other varieties like “apple pie”, Oreos, etc.

  24. Congo Bars
  25. Monya’s Brownies

Some of these flavor combinations are combinations I’ve seen at bakeries or online that I want to try to recreate.  They are not entirely original.
